two DNA matches (23 AND ME and ANCESTRY) but Geni says we have no biological connection. How can this be corrected?

A cousin and I show we are connected through marriage but not a biological match but we WERE a DNA match on Ancestry and on 23 and Me DNA test.  How can that be?  Please suggest a solution.  Thanks,

  Hi Sara, if you do not see a blood path on Geni, then it is likely that the profiles that would connect you biologically have not yet been added to the tree. If you know how you are related, then you may want to make sure to add those profiles to the tree so that a blood path can be found.
