Before my cousin died did she took over my profile and placed her brothers to be owner of all profiles in my tree.
Now are her brothers dead also but still they own everything and have also damage the tree by placed wrong information.
I have tried to take away them but doesn't get any help from Geni.
Have you any idea to could change the ownership ?
If I don't own my own profile do you think I can make a new profile?
If you make a profile/account than you can merge it with your other profile you did not make.
Hi Eva, we see that you have claimed your account. This means that you are the only manager of your profile. Is there a duplicate profile that is managed by your cousin? If so, then you can merge the profiles.
If your relatives claimed their profiles with their email addresses and have since passed away, you may report their profiles as Deceased. Once our customer service team receives the report, we can assist with unclaiming the accounts so that you and your family may update their profiles to reflect their passing.
