How do I change the "focus" person?

I've found that sometimes as I view my family tree, the "home" or "focus" person changes from myself to another person in the tree as described here: https://help.geni.com/hc/en-us/articles/229703507-Why-is-a-node-in-the-tree-white-

That link immediately begs the question: "How do I change the focus person?" With another family tree application I've used You can click an arrow or something similar to move the focus person back/forward a generation, so you can move around your tree in a step-wise fashion. Does anyone else know how to do this?

  I should have mentioned that I am using the HTML tree, not the Flash tree, if that makes a difference.

  You could use the navigate menu at the bottom of the screen or use the tree icon on a profile. You can get some info by using the ? above the gear icon in the left part of the screen get get some info on using the HTML tree.
