In my tree there are many pedigree collapses, which does not show any problems concerning the relations paths, right after I have filled in the profiles of the families. But after merging activities in their families the relation paths change and suddenly show wrong relationships, so my 7th great grandmother is turned into my 7th great aunt. I have been given the explanation that relation paths show the shortest line, but why were they then correct before those merges? It does not make sense!

I would be very happy if you are able to fix the issues. I have tried to fix it myself, but every time it turns into the same incorrect path.
