Hi Geni,
I recently registered on Geni and have been trying to access records of my ancestors. However, whenever I click into a profile, I am asked to do a free trial of Geni Pro. Then I try to click cancel, but that just leads me back to the search page. How can I view profiles without signing up to Geni Pro?

Hi Lara, full access to our search results is a premium feature. Basic members may only access profiles they manage or collaborate on in the search results for free. These profiles are indicated with a green check mark.
If you are not yet ready to upgrade to Pro, you can do a search for "geni.com + a name" through Google. You will then be able to access public profiles for free through those results.
