for a week it's saying that is in-progress.

  Hi Talia, you can see the progress of your GEDCOM import in your GEDCOM dashboard https://www.geni.com/gedcom . Note the GEDCOM will pause if duplicates are detected. You will need to resolve the duplicates first before the import can continue.
