My father passed away recently, and I want to update his profile. (We don't want to get email updates with birthday reminders for someone who is no longer alive.) However, I am unable to edit the profile of my father (or my mother, who is alive). My father's profile is https://www.geni.com/people/Shiv-Ram/5216383133310025797 and my mother's profile is https://www.geni.com/people/Mira-Ram/5216383198280025704. Neither of them have logged in and claimed their profile, or anything like that. How do I update their information?

Geni Support Team Hi Ashwin, we're sorry to hear about the loss of your father. We see that both of your parents claimed their profiles with their email addresses. This is why you are not able to edit them.
We have unclaimed your father's account, so that you may now update it to reflect his passing.
