Hi all,
Last February Geni stopped giving me new matches although earlier they appeared almost daily. OK there was an issue about my payment, but now that has been alright for months (Pro). Still no new matches. What to do?

Antti Olavi Hiillosmäki FTDNA and GENI has problem since 12.2 and DNA matches hasnt worked since, its also impossible to transfer DNA data from FTDNA to GENI . Either company has not said whats the real proplem is. But its maybe due to the new ownership , merge of myDNA and FamilyTreeDNA

Geni Support Team Hi Juha, there is currently an issue with FTDNA sending the information to us. We have communicated with the FTDNA team and have been told it is a technical issue on their end. Currently, we do not have an ETA on when FTDNA will have the issue fixed.

If you've already linked your DNA kit to Geni and wish to update your results, you must first disconnect Geni from FTDNA and then you can reconnect your accounts.
