I am tryingTried to move profile for the following tree https://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/6000000006824221160 because there seems to be a duplicate tree of 3 layers, but it doesn't accept my action.

Geni Support Team Hi Ben, can you please provide more details about this issue? Which profile are you are trying to move and where? What are the steps you took? What browser/version are you using?

Ben Z. Reichberg I clicked on the profile under radio button "more" i clicked on "move profile" it created a module to drag on the profile I want to move to but it doesn't respond to give me the drop-down menu choice if it's the same person etc.

Geni Support Team The green x2 at the bottom left corner of the node indicates the profile is in a Cycle. This means that the person is related in the tree in more than one way. Clicking on the x2 will take you to the other place in the tree the person is located. If you were to clear the inconsistency on Rabbi Yaakov Koppel Kamiel Coppiletis's profile, you will see he also has a x2 at the bottom left corner of his node.
This is also why you are not able to drop the node. They are not duplicates; they are the same profile.
