It turns out that Mrs. Ana Toledo https://www.geni.com/people/Ana-Toledo-Curadora/6000000000662256121 (Curator), deprived me of editing the profile of my ancestor João de Mello Rego https://www.geni.com/people/ Jo%C3%A3o-de-Mello-do-Rego/6000000030244795242 (João de Mello Rego is my 6th great grandfather), which I am an administrator, without any "plausible" justification, going against the rules of GENI according to the link below:

"Private profiles may be viewed and edited only by:

The managers of the profile and the users in the Family Groups of the managers
The users in the maximum Family Group of the private profile

  The question is: Why do I have to ask the Trustee for permission to insert new documentary findings from my own Ascendant Family member when I am their administrator?
  I think that GENI is making a serious mistake in not supervising infractions committed by certain Curators (like this one), meaningless, and I see it as a personal appropriation of the profile, disrespecting their Family members who are collaborating "for free" so that the information posted is supported by legal documentation.
  In my case, as I denounced above, Mrs. Ana Toledo blocked the profile deliberately and without reason, looking like a literal act of empowerment.
  There are many profiles of very famous people, who have more than 100 administrators who are not blocked and it seems that there have not been any problems, so I can only think that in this case of mine it is of a personal nature with me.

  Hi Joaquim, a curator will typically fully lock a Master Profile in order to stop or prevent vandalism. As you can see, Ana left a curator note at the top of the page to explain why it was locked. If you would like to make changes or add new information to the profile, then you may contact her directly or start a public discussion on the profile and state what you would like to add/change.

  Also to clarify, you quoted our policy for private profiles. This does not apply to the profile you provided, which is a public profile born more than 150 years ago.
