It was noticed that some persons in our family tree have totally different surnames when i use my profile in english and switching to latvian. Any ideas what can cause such bug?

Also an example link with public profiles would help more because other users cannot see detail information for private profiles.
It is probably due to different values on the language tabs for those profiles and that could be the result of merges of profiles which use different language tabs.

Geni Support Team Hi Jānis. Job is correct. There are different surnames entered in the language tabs for English and Latvian. Therefore, when you switch your site language to English or Latvian, you will see the surname that was entered in that language.
If you view the profile page for these individuals, you will be able to see the names entered for each language tab.
