I don't understand the difference between posting a question here in "Community Topics" and a "Public Discussion". What is the difference?

  Hi Frank, this community help area of the Help Center is intended as as a place to request help on how to use Geni or to report bugs.

  If you want to discuss genealogy topics, request assistance from a curator, discuss information in the tree, etc., then it is recommended that you post in the public discussions.

  why is the move option missing from the tree?

  Hi Shlomo, you can find the move option by opening up the side panel, click "More" and select "Move Profile."
