You still don't allow one to specify townlands for Irish addresses even though this has been the canonical for for all rural areas of the island of Ireland until recent decades. See https://www.townlands.ie/ from which you may care to populate your DB with pre-apprived addresses.

  You can enter any location by hand.

  It is a bit complicated to adjust the table as it is used world wide and only a very limited number of entries can be shown to the user to select a value. Adding entries can make it more difficult  to select existing entries for other users.

  You could try to contact a curator for your region to see what is possible (curators can edit the table).
