endless invitation loop

I have been invited to join a tree by a relative who wants me to complete information for him.  I cannot get into his tree through this invitation portal.  I get shunted to the sign-up/login page.  If I login, the site tells me I've already been invited to join a tree and asks if I want the invitation resent.  Which I did.  And ended up right back on the sign-up page.  Where if I log in, I'm told I've already been invited, do I want the invitation re-sent...you get the picture.

I tried searching for the relative and I can find information about him, but it is obviously not his tree and I see no way on the search results page to enter his tree as an invitee.

I use gmail in Google Chrome.  I think you may have a Chrome bug.

  Geni is making a big mistake.  It would seem it would want to encourage paid memberships but that is not accomplished by refusing phone calls from registered users, especially when knowledge bases are unhelpful.

  Not only am I not able to get my own questions answered, when my cousin accepted an invitation to join, and it was necessary to send him a second invitation, he made several unsuccessful attempts to access our tree.  '

  All he sees is advertising and says he is so tired of Geni.
