Hi,
I want to delete my family tree and everyone I have made/listed there. How do I do this?

Jeff, Geni Curator If there are not other users in your tree and it's not connected to the world tree in any way, then when you close your account. It will delete your tree. If those criteria are not true and you create a new tree, you'd just be creating a duplicate tree which would get merged back into your old tree creating more work than had you just fixed your existing tree.
What seems to be the problem? Curators are here to help you fix issues if needed. -
Shirley Ann (Gerwick) Shipley 1. I was on another family tree and decided I wanted to start a tree for my husband's family, but when I did that it didn't give me a blank tree, it had my side of family... I don't want all of my family in his family tree...
2. I was also helping my second cousin with another tree (editing) and now I can't get back to that tree...

Jeff, Geni Curator Shirley, Geni is designed as a collaborative shared tree. We want to connect everyone into a single tree. You should be in the same tree as your second cousin and the same tree as your husbands family and ultimately in the same tree as me, as we're all related in some way or another through the world tree. We protect your privacy via family groups, but Geni's goal is one profile for one person. To try to find your cousin's tree, which would best be connected into your tree, is to review the Activity tab on your profile. Go back through your history.

(No Name) My tree is all messed up. I want to delete the tree ad start over. Its only a few people so no biggy. somehow I got people with wrong parents etc. Help! Ive tried everything.

Fernanda Ribeiro Leite (Fernanda Leandro da Silva) my tree has some mistakes that are driving me insane.
I started with Geni and asked someone to enter the data I had, and the person made a mistake to add children as brothers, and the messed information is being transferred to others... and I'm having a hard time to find the right place where it started. and it would be easier to restart. how I do that?

Alicia Rowe I am also very disappointed to see how difficult it is to delete and start over. A second great grandfather has been entered incorrectly now that entire branch of my tree is connected to people I am not actually related to. And I can't clear it! Ready to delete the entire thing and start over PLEASE HELP!

Kristine Long It's looking like it's not possible. Which is ridiculous. I'm sick of people editing my family or connecting to mine when it's obvious there is no connection. Too much time wasted fixing other people's stupidity

Michael John Dembski I want to add my husbands side of the family and even though I know that some of those people are there, it is not connecting with them and it is not allowing me to import a ged for his side of the family. Adding to what others have said, this is ridiculous.
