my dead uncle cannot be edited

Dear All,

I have added myuncle Mohammad Ali Khumush (makhairi2000@hotmail.com ) to my tree, and then he died in 2010 but unfortunately I can't update his profile to reflect his status 

Now we are receiving  birthday announcement about his birthday. Also, we cannot use his email to receive password change.

please advise on what to do to update his status.

  Since he was a Geni user like you, you have to ask Geni to close his account first.

  You do that by reporting him as deceased:
