Edit permissions limited - send me an email?

Hi - I briefly saw a message when I went to the site today telling me my permissions to edit had been limited but having clicked away from it, I now can't see any kind of notification about it anywhere so I can't find the email address that was listed for me to contact to discuss it - I have only used Geni on one occasion last weekend, so I've no idea if I have accidentally edited something belonging to someone else or something or just used Geni in a way I wasn't supposed to. Surely when a user needs to contact someone specifically to discuss something, there should be an email or some other notification that user can easily find on the website - it should be a one-off message that then can't be seen again once the user clicks away from it?
