What is happening?

Jeff, Geni Curator Could you point to the area where they disappeared? We can review the revision history. Also, make sure you don't have two accounts - it's often the case that someone will log in with a different email and think their tree is missing. If that's the case, we can merge the two. -
Arthur Lee Watts It says at top Arthur Lee Watts's showing 454 names. Last previous time it said showing 1179? (at least 1100) names. Why did the count change? What happened to 600 names?

Jeff, Geni Curator Geni will periodically update the statistic, so it may have been in the process of recounting. Currently, it says there are 1,063 in your family tree and have 100,000+ blood relatives. Since Geni is a shared tree, sometimes we get situations where a branch is disconnected, but this is usually due to that branch being incorrectly connected. For example, we just disconnected 5 children from a MayFlower passenger - so sorry for those descendants, but it wasn't true. Sometimes we get inflated numbers due to duplication - tree is connected but hasn't been fully merged. Something like that could easily account for a 100 count change in the tree. If you know of a particular branch that use to be connected, but now is not, I can certainly investigate it being disconnected or profiles deleted, but I can't help when we're just looking at Geni's statistics.
