Dead people are still shown as living, and I CANNOT DO ANYTING ON THE SYSTEM TO CHANGE....

I get message about birthday of people dead many years ago, and I hav no possibility to change that.

  Could a Geni curator comment this, please? I have the same problem. when someone who has created his/her own profile dies, there is no way to change their status.

  Hi, if a relative has claimed their account with an email address, then you may submit a Deceased report via the Actions button on their profile. This will stop all birthday and anniversary reminders. Once our customer service team receives the report, they will be able to assist with unclaiming the account so you and your relatives may update it to reflect their passing.
