Entering dates doesn't work

Argh!!! No matter how I try to enter a date am prompted with invalid entry. I can't very well add to my tree if your site doesn't allow date entry. Every thread I have searched is closed, leaving one to assume the issue isn't just me and that being closed issue has been resolved. Here I thought Family Search had a pain in the rump record entry system... Think I recall why I never moved forward using this site...

  How are you formatting your date and what is your date preference set as? Is it a particular field or all date fields? As far as I know, there are no known issues with inputing dates.

  Have tried all 3 offered as acceptable in your settings. Even tried spelling it out. Same result.

  Can you provide a screenshot?  Are you running any javascript blocking tools?

  I think this may be a bug with the beta HTML 5 tree, where most of us are using the Flash tree.
