A family member added a person to my tree who is not related at all to the family. She is the manager of that person so there is no X that I can easily delete. Is there another way for me to delete that person?

Ivar Mattson Rødseth Hello,
First i wanna thank you guys for making such an entertaining and educational service like Geni, its very enjoyable.
But i do share the other peoples pain in the trouble of the removing some people from their tree.
It should be an easier solution, like; when ur on ur profile > edit > relationship > and selecting the people u wanna remove, if its splits the tree like the warning message says, it could instead send a request to the other user that he or she could agree on or not. That way you get the agreement situation settled and an easy way for the users to remove the people they want. And maybe there should appear a pending list on the relationship page, where you can see the state and date of the request is sendt. Also if it takes like more then 1month without any responce, there should pop-up a hyperlink to either an email or a page, where people could get support for this trouble.Anyways, im just sharing some ideas. I have no idea why its designed like it is, so i might just sound stupid with my idea. But in any case, thank you all for a good and enjoyable service.
Now... speaking off removing people, hehe. Could you, Jeff, or someone, help me remove my ex-partner from my family tree? :) i only get a warning that removing this person from my relation list, would split the tree. I really dont think this would be a problem, since we are only connected as ex-partners and nothing more.
I dont know if the profile is public, i cant tell. I tried blocking the person, without any luck. And im not sure if i invited her or if it was the other way around, its most likely that i invited her.http://www.geni.com/people/Maiken-Yvonne-Olsen/6000000000737942285
Thats her profile, and her name, and i would greatly appreciate if someone could help me with removing her from my family tree. :-)
My e-mail: xato88@gmail.com (also connected to geni).

It's fine if you leave it, but I'd highly suggest you make it private again. It's bad form to publish someones personal
info open to the web. It was only intended to be temporarily public.

I hope people here posting names and links to profiles are aware that this discussion is indexed by search engines and posts are permanent with no way to delete them.

Liivi Murumets Ivar, there're two ways to remove a relationship between user profiles:
1. take out trial Pro membership
2. invite a Curator or a Pro to your family group (in profile view: Actions > Add to Family Group) and tick the box in 'Let my family edit my profile' (Account > Account Settings > Permissions or shortcut http://www.geni.com/account_settings/permissions)
If you would like me to help you remove the connection, add me to your family group http://www.geni.com/people/Liivi-GeniviiL/6000000008110515723
