Hans Inge Thulin I am a basic user and I got the problem that some of my relatives I can not add but others I can add. I could do this before and very far back 1600 but not any more. Is this a problem in the Geni system or they have somehow restricted the free account service. I have many more thousands to add to my tree. As it is now the tree is very strange, with parts of it far back.

Kenny Rolling This problem seems to persist. For certain relatives, I can add more generations but for others, the system sends me on a perpetual loop of "Would you like to upgrade to 'PRO'?" and then right back to where I started.

Carol Gertrude Robeck I am a bit new to Geni and a little more than confused. I can't help but wonder if I have gotten into something a bit too complicated for me. I have had a few requests to merge profiles, but in each case not all the information is identical. For example in one case first and middle names of the person in the profile were reversed, i.e., Jane Mary was listed as Mary Jane. Another example is the place of birth or death and or the year. Another example is the amount of information. In most cases I have more information that the "other" profile. Will I lose the information I have? Yet, I am sure the profiles were of the same person. What will happen to my tree if a merge these kinds of profiles? Will my profile be changed even though I know for sure and can verify the information I have listed?

Sylvia del Carmen Bain Rojas I do also have trouble when I want to add my relatives to the tree. I work a lot in investigating in order to obtain a faithfull background and I get really disappointed when after having everything ready to transfer it to my family tree in Geni, I simply can't add them. That is really unfair and discouraging.
Sincerely,
Sylvia Bain
