I can see how to upload a new profile picture, but how can I change the profile picture of an ancestor, without uploading a new one? I already have pictures in my album I would like to use and I don't want to upload again and have to retag all of the people in the photo.

Kevin McBride I'm taking the time to write this up because doing this is not so clear on Geni. You should be able to do this by editing the person's profile from their page but there is no option to do so.
To change another person's profile picture:
- Go to that person's profile page
- Click on the media tab
- Click on the picture you want to use as their profile pic
- While viewing the full sized picture, hover over "Set Profile Photo", you will see the person's name in bold.
- Click that button to set the new profile pic
If you do this from any other page, it will change "Your" profile pic.
Another tip...you may notice the newly changed pic is too large for the profile thumbnail. The only place to re-size it is from the Tree. Go to your Tree, find the person and click on "More" in the lower right of the box. From there you can re-size the pic for a more appropriate thumbnail.
