I became a member of Geni over a year ago and built my tree. I now find my access is no longer valid so I had to re join to try and contact Geni but still can not find how to contact them.
How do you contact them???

I do see that your account is set to bill you $190.80. I will check with our tech team to see if there was a bug when processing your order. We will reply back in our private directly to your email.
My account will be billed on the 30th of this month after my free trial expires, but i'm going to be billed for 2 years. I would please like to be billed for between 4 to 6 months.
Please could i hear back quickly because i might have to cancel my account if i'm going to be billed for 2 years.

There should be a better way than this. Handling account issues in a public area isn't very professional.
Anette,
Another point you might want to think about, if a person unknown to your family created these profiles, then there is information about you somewhere else than Geni. Information isn't created here, its just stored here. He learned that information from somewhere else besides Geni, he just brought it here, apparently its already accessible somewhere else. I would suggest googling your name with "~genealogy" to see if you can find other places with your information.
@Jeffrey Tracey Smith: I am fully aware of the fact that some weirdo could potentially go around on the web and copy/paste any info into a profile. But I don't understand how a supposedly serious website like geni.com can accept people posting in other peoples names.... I mean how many profile are you allowed to create on geni? How come this person, if he think we're related somehow, doesn't contact me and ask me to create my own profile. What I'm saying is: personal profiles should be made by that person self. The way things are done in here is simply not right! Do I need to mention publishing other peoples private information is illegal in many countries? You have to ask permission.
I have asked other people to remove personal info on other websites. Info I'd never approved of publishing. They've removed it without any problems.
I've written to the person who has published info about me and my family on geni.com, but he doesn't reply. He might be dead. I've send emails to help@geni.com, but they have an instant generic reply telling me to use the forum. I hope someone in here are able to help me. I want my profile and my family members profiles deleted. That's all.
How can I get in contact with admin?
Dear Monica Cruz,
A person unknown to my family, has made public profiles of me and my entire family on geni.com. He has not ask for permission to publish our personal details on this site. I have sent site mails to him, but he doesn't reply. His profil is here: http://www.geni.com/people/Sven-Helles/6000000000749967933?through=6000000012764444579#/tab/activity
I have sent emails to help@geni.com in hope somebody could help me, but I get no respons. I hope you can help me. Thanks.
I made a 'Basic' account which is supposedly free, however my bank account was debited by $190.80 plus commission not even a month after I made my FREE account. I supplied NO banking details, I don't know who to contact to sort this out. I can't submit a 'ticket' as my account is not 'Pro'. What have I been charged for? How do I stop it happening again? How do I get my money back?
I was under the impression I would be charged a monthly rate and then was charged 190.80 I would never have signed up for it had I known. Now my electric is due , I have tried finding a number for customer service but there seems to be none. Does any one know where I can contact a rep.?
I'm just trying to find out if my Genie Plus was cancelled or not. I've tried cancelling, but when I log in, it shows I still have Genie Plus, not the Basic. Why isn't a phone number or email listed for contact?
