how do I detach from someone?

my mother was maried before I was born to another man and they had few children. she devoreced him but stil here he is attached as my stepfather,  which he is not!

and all his family is as if it is mine , but it's not! exept for my half brothers and sister/

so how do I detach from him without loosing the connection to my brothers and sister

  Edit the profile of your mother, Relationship tab, then change the relationship type from "husband" to "ex-husband".  This will not disconnect him, but he shouldn't show up as your step-father, he'll just show up as your mother's ex-husband, which sounds correct based on your statement.
