Am I allowed to post a URL to my website - which is not on Geni - when using Geni messaging to members?

  Yes of course, as long as it is not for selling products, to commercials and so on.
  Any user who are receiving a message have the option to mark messages as spam, with the result that you risk getting blocked from sending messages and in the worse case get removed as a user.
