I am looking for any relatives of the Copland's who owned the Commercial Hotel in Dumfries, Scotland in late 1800s and early 1900s.

Margaret Copland was the daughter of Elizabeth (McGeorge) Copland and John Copland. Margaret married John Anderson and had six children. She died about 1898. Her son Maxwell Copland Anderson went to Canada with his brother, Gordon Copland Anderson in about 1910. They were followed by sisters Louise and Margaret. Maxwell returned to Europe as a soldier in 1915. Maxwell married in January 1918 and went back to Canada with his bride and son in 1919. I am a grand-daughter of Maxwell. I am trying to find any relatives in the Dumfries area. Apparently Margaret's picture as a child hung in the hotel for years. I know that the hotel was later called the County Hotel and it was at 79 High Street.
