my ex-partner set up the tree and i joined it and then filled in my relatives, we were not married and also have no children. now we are no longer together and i want to delete him and his whole part of the tree but when i press the button REMOVE in relationships nothing happens, it stays there, even when this message appears: Warning: Removing these connections will split the tree. but it does not. can you help me with this? is quite unpleasant situation for both of us and also for my new partner and his family. thank you.

Jeff, Geni Curator Soňa, this might require more rights to disconnect the relationship. If you want to send me a private message on Geni, I'll help you out. It will require a few steps.

Elizabeth Stouffer Me too - my ex needs to be deleted from my family tree. We have a daughetr but he has her blocked and closed on his tree. I do not want him on our tree. It is AWFUL that the Geni site makes this impossible for regular users unable to delete these persons from their trees. there should be an option for such a procedure without having to pay for it.

Jeff, Geni Curator I've made a feature request here. Give it a "Me Too" to get it bumped up.
