How do I change my own email address

When I go into my account, to edit account settings, I see the place where my email shows up, but there is nowhere to change it.  It appears to be set in stone.  How can I change it to my new email address?

  Take a closer look: There is an add option, where you can add the new email. Then you get the option to delete the old one, but to be sure that things are corrrect you should use the verify option on the new address first.
