I have a whole lot of mergers I have requested and approved, but whatever I try to do, they do not actually merge.
How is it done ?

Jeff, Geni Curator Often merges require two sides of a tree to agree. It sounds like you have requested and approved many merges on your tree, but a user from the other tree (in which you wish to merge) must also approve of the merger. Once at least one of those merges, from the other tree, that profile will merge and the others that also belong to that tree should merge via confirmation. Essentially, a person in the other tree has to approve one of the requested merges is in fact the same person and they agree with creating a single tree out of the two trees.
