a son of a brother and a daughter of another brother married each other...how do I connect them so that the fathers are still listed as brothers and the first cousins are connected to each other as spouses?

David Chambers Sorry: I don't find Ashiya's post of March 2, 2011, 4:41 PM very helpful at all – because it leaves no placeholder to cross-reference to where same person appears elsewhere (second appearance). If cousins (whatever degree) marry, they need to appear in both places – and then perhaps the surviving family name should dictate where the family chain continues? (Or is that what happens: the Geni description is unclear). Please help.

Jeff, Geni Curator When you create a cycle, the same profile exists in both places. Either way you navigate in the tree, the profile will be there. If they're in the same tree visible tree, a little 2x is also placed on it and when you click on the 2x, it shifts to the other perspective in the tree.
