You can export a GEDCOM file for any profile that you added. Simply click 'Actions' on their profile and select 'Export GEDCOM.'
Can anyone give me a how too on this? ;P

Here is a screen shot. It's under the actions menu. I have more options then the normal user, but you should see "Export GEDCOM"
If you want to export your own GEDCOM, you can do this under the Family menu, Share your tree (http://www.geni.com/gedcom).
Thanks for the reply
But i do not have that options. I only have 6 options.... I have geni basic membership
Sorry, should have replied. I've posed the question to Geni on the Curator discussion forum. Haven't heard back yet.
The 'Export GEDCOM' option will only appear in the 'Actions' if you added that profile on Geni. If you did not add the profile then the option will not appear.

Thank you.
Thats not right. I have added my mother and does not have that alternativ on her. Sow something must be wrong
Kenneth, could you check again? Geni verified, looking at your instance in particular, that you should see "Export GEDCOM" on the Actions menu of your mother.
Now i have it. But i have alsow geni pro for free until next wekkend.
Does not seem to work anymore? Our family tree has grown in recent years (we merged profiles with a pro account). I would now like just to export from the descendant's of my fathers ancestors. I have done this for my mother's family some years ago successfully. But I don't get it done right now. How come?
shouldn't it be possible to export Gedcom from a profile that is created by Geni user that I am co-operating with, we are both Pro members? Or should I first make a duplicate profile and merge the profiles and then export the Gedcom?
the profile I am talking about is https://www.geni.com/people/Juho-Kurki/6000000090154202939
