Happy New Year first of all!
I have a problem on writting the dates. I typed the dates which my cousin was at a specific school as1998-2002 but when I press save, the 2002 as a year of school finish, is deleted!
Also another question, when I write on timing the date between 1989-90 and finished in 1998, when I press save it shows between just 1989 and finish 1990! Can you help me on those problematic dates?
I don't believe Geni supports time frames for a particular start or finish date. The have that ability for birth, death, baptism using the "between" pulldown, but for school, work, etc, it just uses an exact date for the start and finish.
I think the original poster was saying that they've added both a start date and an end date - there are fields for both - but on clicking 'Save and continue' or 'Save and exit', the end date disappears, although the start date remains. I have the same problem. I've entered start and end dates for various jobs I've had and yet after saving and closing, they all show up on my timeline with the correct start date but "to present" at the end: to believe my profile, I have about a dozen concurrent jobs! I'm also still in elementary school, high school and university. I know I have some days where all this feels to be true, but I'd still rather have accurate start and end dates on my profile <gr>.
