how can I update profile of any member in my family tree?

  So long as the profile is unclaimed, you should be able to update it in either tree view or by viewing the profile and clicking edit.  If the profile is claimed, then only that person can edit their profile unless they change their security settings to allow family members to edit their profile.  For example, a family member can't edit your profile without you changing your settings to allow it.
