I am trying to confirm the middle names of some people, but all I can find are their initials.
Whilst researching in the past, I have seen their middle names somewhere, but I can't remember where.
They were born in the 1940's.
Can anyone tell me where they should be recorded?
It's not in the BMD records.

If it only shows an initial, then that's likely all that is in there. If your in tree view, you can select the preferences tab at the bottom, then names, select "Show middle names". Also available here: http://www.geni.com/account_settings/name_preferences
If you edit the profile, it will be stored in the name area, labeled "middle".
