How do I delete someone who does not belong on the tree ?

I added my father's cousin's son I  mistakenly added a generation he now comes up father to himself. I invited his niece to join and when I try to delete him it says he must remove himself, he is not alive

  My cousin Judith Cummings is listed several times where she doesn't belong,  She is listed as her own sister , her husbands 2nd wife, her children's stepmother and her brother's half sister. I'v e tried deleting those profiles, merging profiles, nothing works . If you can fix it I would really appreciate it.

  Ok, I've resolved the duplicates. Should look good now.  You may need to resolve any remaining data conflicts.  I think there were a couple where the living status was different.

  My brother has different father, but when i created my brother as my sibling to my profile it automatically allocated him to my mother & father. How can I delete  my father from his profile & add correct person as his father?

  Vilmante, it looks like you got this resolved, but for others, you would just add another partner to the common parent, then edit the relationship tab of the child and select the pull down menu to choose the right set of parents.
