I responded to your other thread about printing. Essentially, the tree view is not intended for printing the tree. You could make a screen shot of it, but as you said, you'll see the "add this person" as it is designed for data entry. As for birth and death dates, it tries to fit them in, but sometimes a long name can hide it. You may want to consider the normal tree view (left icon on bottom right row), instead of the 5 generation view, as you'll more easily be able to see the dates and all the arrows for adding additional relatives. The 5 generation view will only show 5 generations, so clicking the green arrow sets the start focus of that view to that person - it doesn't expand the existing tree, thought that would be a nice feature.
