Currently, Geni has disabled GEDCOM imports, so there is no easy way to do this yet. It's on the development track. The problem is we use to have GEDCOM imports and it created massive duplication, which caused more work than gain for the goal of a single world tree. So they disabled it until they can make it smart, only importing profiles up until duplication with the existing world tree. Geni and My Heritage are working through the best ways to bridge the membership and allow for what your asking.

GENI have more problems with the double persons in GENI system then I have when I upload a GEDCOM file. Your answere is from March2013 and GENI have still not solved the problem.
Hmmm, must be money into it. If GENI have some interest in us who searching our relatives the problem had been solved know, but let us pay for premium kit and booth GENI and MyHeritage it´s called Easy Money.
I've been able to make a GEDCON file with Geni recently, but it only added a little over 5000 ancestors from my tree. I have well over 22000 (so far), so my question is, why will Geni not allow me make a GEDCOM file of my entire family tree? Other sites allow this why not Geni? Not only that, when I try to print out my tree it only allows 5000 ancestor and no more. Why the restrictions on Geni? I am a Geni pro member ,but I do not see the benefits of being a pro member with all the restrictions. Will they ever fix this?

I am a member of both Geni and Myheritage... yes they want more money out of us. The only way to us a GEDCOM file from Geni to add to MyHeritage, you NEED to use the MyHeritage Family tree maker , which BTW cost you even more money. it's a rip off.
Your export is restricted to 4x the amount of profiles you've added - seems generous. So you've added 1,295 profiles and thus the maximum you can export is 5,180. I expect this is done to prevent new users from essentially steeling the work of other users and uploading them to another website. Geni, unlike other sites, is allowing you to export work that is not your own and they wouldn't make it very far if people could just jump in and export 22000 profiles and walk away (not to mention upsetting their existing customer base when they see all their work pop up someplace else). If you want a backup, then I suggest limiting it (not doing a forest export, but one of the others) or break up your export (such as your in-laws in one export, parents in another).
I believe Family Tree Maker is free - the version I have is. MyHeritage is its own site, so if you want to build a tree there, then you have to look at their membership. The only sharing that exists between the sites is the Data Subscription, which provides the Smart & Record Matches.

As Jeff stated, the only subscription that works on both Geni and MyHeritage is the Data subscription as the Record matches and Smart matches feature on Geni is offered in partnership with MyHeritage. (http://help.geni.com/forums/21882243-Record-Matches-Smart-Matches-)
