here is the profile of my cousin, he is dead yesterday, and the family wants to write on his profile, but the profile is private :

  Condolences. He was a Geni user himself, so the first step is to ask Customer Support to remove his as a user.
  
  Just following these instructions: How do I report a profile as Deceased? 
  His managed profiles will be inherited by the closest active family member which is a Geni user.

  When unclaimed, family members will be able to edit his profile without having to make it public, so it is up to you to make him a public profile when you get access and have marked him as deceased.
