Jeff, Geni Curator You should have edit access to profiles in your family group, the exception being claimed profiles. Outside of the family group, you may need to collaborate to edit certain parts of public profiles, however, names should be open to edit. Might you be able to provide a link to some of the profiles you're talking about. You can send me a private message on it if you prefer. Jeff Gentes

Amanda Naudé Hi Jeff
I have so many errors which members of my extended family did.
What I am getting to; is that it will take me a long time to correct other people's errors. Is there a way of notifying all of them in one go from geni's side?
Can geni's web administrators or creators look into this?
It's something like a 1000 errors.
Any advice will help.
Thx

Sharon Slodki A busybody in my very extended family has decided to use information from the public domain to mess up my tree. She has added people in error and even deleted my beloved grandfather. She has listed me as people's first cousin on my mother's side when my mother was an only child! What should I do? Can I get a person at Geni to help me?

Anna Gallo Hi, I somehow entered my mother as the child of my paternal grandparents and entered my father as the child of my maternal grandparents! I'm new to Geni and have just started my family tree. I cannot find any way to correct this error. Any guidance is welcome. Thanks!

Job Waterreus You can try to correct parents from the dropdown list on the relation tab of the profile.
