The node of one of my relatives had "move" instead of "edit". When I hit "move", a floating box marked "Map these people" appeared, with a copy of that relative's node in it, with instructions to move it to the nearest relative; & I can't remove it. Why no "Cancel" button? Can I move the node & then move it back? Any thoughts?

Jeff, Geni Curator There should be a little (x) on the floating node. Just click that and it will remove it from the move operation. It will not delete the person from the tree.

Dr. Knut Michael Wittkowski Same problem.
After clicking the only little (x) I could find, a warning pops up:
(I) Are you sure?
The profile will be removed from your list. (x)
Yes, proceed CancelI don't want the profile to be removed.

Dragging the pop-up or the node in the pop up somewhere (and then back as a workaround doesn't seem to have any function and neither can one move the node itself. ???

I run the risk of clicking on the (x) mentioned above and it did not remove the profile, but closed the pup up. How about adding "It will not not remove the node from the tree" to the warning for clarification?
