Delete Profiles I manage and my own

Dear Geni Team,

I recently googled my name to see what information is appearing of myself right now and was very disturbed when I saw my Geni listing mentioning my name as well as my wife and minor daughters again on a simple Google search. I would like to delete their profiles as well as my own as soon as possible for security and privacy reasons.

I was only able to find a button to close my account, but first I would like to make sure I delete the profiles that I manage and make sure that they will no longer appear on google searches.

  Matias Alejandro Mesta Ayub, your profiles are searchable on Google because you have that option enabled on your account.  You just need to turn it off.  

  * http://www.geni.com/account_settings/permissions

  Uncheck the option "Let the public search for me (profile privacy settings apply)".

  This would apply to your wife as well, since she has an account. 

  You have complete control over your privacy.  I suggest exploring the privacy options on your account, rather than blanking out your tree which vandalizes it for your other family members.  http://www.geni.com/account_settings/profile_privacy

  Note that Google can take a couple weeks to purge their web cache.
