how to remove matches with out ticks or crosses

I have a number of matches in my merge center that have no ticks or crosses how do I remove them after checking them

  It sounds like you don't have the ability to approve or deny those.  I think you have to be a manager, within your family group, or be a descendant within 20 generations.  You might be looking at one of the Merge Center options that extends beyond that, such as profiles you Follow or those of your collaborators.

  I am both a manger and a descendant of the fifty great grand parents I wish to remove

  You also need a data subscription with MyHeritage to approve or remove non-free matches.
