Why do some profiles not have a "Relationships" tab?

Some profiles don't have a "Relationships" tab, so I can't add info about marriages.

  Relationship is one of the profile values that is not under revision control can can be easily reverted, so you have to be a profile manager or collaborating with one of the profile managers to get access to change it.
