every user should be able to ask for help especially to prevent the receipt of a birthday notice for someone who is dead!

I see lots of queries for this, but no answers/

  In the basic level you must edit the profile under basics/grunnleggende - remove the post for Send birthday reminders. This ends reminders from a dead person.

  My mother just passed away and I would like to modify her profile to "deceased"
  
  Trying to do it as  the FAQ guides required http://help.geni.com/entries/499442-how-can-i-update-the-profile-for-someone-who-is-deceased I´ve faced this "Report" option is not where its supposed to be. As you could check it out at the attached file.
  
  

  • "Add direct relative"
  • "Move this person"
  • "Solve duplications"
  • "Send a message"
  • "Resize photo"
  • "Close"

  
  This is the translated option you could click on, but no one of those are to report anything at all. Any other suggestion about how to solve this situation??

  Your snapshot is from tree-view, not the profile page which the FAQ tells you to go to. Click on the name in tree view to open the profile-page for that person.
