I can't always open up profiles with foreign words and accents

I can't always open up profiles with foreign words and accents. This happens all the time. Sometimes I find a way around it by going to the tree page and opening profile from there...but not always working that way. Sometimes I go to smart names (if links exist) and get information there but should I have to do this just because someone who is of a different language than english writes (or rewrites) my intended profile. So, I've gone to the bottom tab and changed languages but it doesn't do anything for my need to open up the profile. I've tried going from a page to a link to try to get into the profile, to no avail. 

I've asked this before without response. Why doesn't anyone else have this problem?

  I have never had this problem but remember Geni is international and if the foreign words and accents are correct for the person, language and time they should not be changed by anyone other than the manager. If anyone else changes them, it could be considered vandalism and a violation of Geni's  TOS.

  I have not made any changes. Maybe someone else might try to...instead of going to Wiki or others for ancestor info. I am suggesting, that these names should default to English for English speaking people. That would solve a problem instead a accusing someone of violations.

  Roger, I was not saying you had made  changes, just saying don't. You might  try sending a message to the managers asking them to enter names in two languages (this is common in some parts of the Jewish tree) You can also use Google Translate, I just did for a question posted here in Portuguese

  BTW, What browser are you using? That could be your problem with.opening profiles

  Eldon, thanks for answering. You may have a point about the browser. I used AOL since the very beginning. I'll test out Chrome. I'll try asking managers, suggesting to them, about limiting titles but actually its the foreign language that has me miffed....and yes the titles come with foreign language accents. Thanks for being helpful.

  Try Firefox, It is a direct descendent of Netscape so is almost as old as AOL
