I would like to know what an unclaimed profile is and how one can claim an unclaimed profile

  Only the profile person can claim their profile. This is done by loging on to Geni and setting a password

  Hi Lodewyk,

  Unclaimed profile means the person has not joined Geni yet. The person would need to be invited to their profile page in order to have the option to join Geni and claim their profile.
