On my family tree . . . on a generational line of 4 brothers (and my dad is the 5th, but is unaffected by this issue) . . .
right where the gray drop-down line is which goes to each of the sequentially listed 4 older brothers, there is a tiny gray number.
There are 4 brothers, but from right to left, the gray numbers read "1---2---3---3". What does this mean and why the duplication
of the number 3 for brothers 3 and 4??? Thanks, Gena M. Burns-Harrison

Jeff, Geni Curator That's the birth order and in your case there is confusion to the birth order. To fix it, go to your father's profile (or one of his brothers) and edit the profile, under the birth date you'll see a link for "Change birth order". Click that link and drag them into the proper order.
