When I want to write a location related to the 18th, 19th century, Google is unable to forward information about names of places and countries which were different at that time. It is impossible to put in names which are different from Google.
Can this be fixed? Thank you for your answer.

Take a closer look the next time you want to enter or edit a location: There is a clear "▼Edit Location Details" link below each location field, and there you can enter whatever you want without use of the Google location helper function.
Be also aware that there might pop up suggestions on values you have entered earlier, but that is a personal setting in your browser and not Geni generated.
As a side comment: I always use Edit Location Details after getting some suggested values from Google, simply because the Google return an English name of the location if it exist and that might be totally wrong because we should try to always use the local name (like my country name is Norge, not Kingdom of Norway).
