I have changed my name but Google still shows my old name. I want it removed or at least changed (in Google search) for security and privacy reasons.

  It looks like this has updated, but for reference, Google can take a couple weeks to refresh its cache on a website's contents. Changes are not instantly reflected and the website doesn't have control over when Google updates, though a user can request a specific page be updated by Google out of cycle at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals?hl=en
